ISO file OS windows 7 No internet. error 651.

Hi everybody! I formatted my secondary 1Tb HDD and installed ISO image file windows 7 pro. Windows work fine. Except Internet. Error 651. Is it possible to fix this without any third party software? I already searched all internet and fined a lot of advices but no any luck. My internet provider is Verizon. Computer wired to the router. Old HDD 250 GB OS vista working well, Internet Ok! Broadband ID and password setup Ok and no connection. Error 651.

Please help if it possible.

WiFi card on Inspiron N5110

I own a Dell Inspiron N5110 with Intel Centrino N1030 as wireless card which is not supportive on windows 10 as on date. I recently upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10. As of now card is working fine but after a few days it will stop as it has happened earlier also when I tried to upgrade the OS.

Q1) Is there any alternative to make Intel Centrino wireless N1030 work with windows 10 through some tricks or any changes in the settings or anything like that?

Q2) If ans to Q1 is no then Can I change to any other wireless card which supports windows 10? Can somebody tell me which are the list of windows 10 supportive intel card which also support Inspiron N5110. like Intel wireless N7260 for instance?

Dell Inspiron 3542 problems with cable internet and wifi

Hi. I bought a new Dell inspiron 3542 with windows 8.1 installed. I did a format, installed windows 10 and all the drivers with the correct order and then installed ubuntu 14.04.

Everything is working fine in windows 10.

On ubuntu on the other hand, i got 2 problems.

1) The problem in wireless is that my wifi is disabled by hardware switch and i can't figure out how to solve it.
Fn+prntscrn isn't working, although Fn+F2 or F3 works with the function related to these buttons.
I have also tried sudo rfkill unblock all and removed and replaced my battery, but the problem still occures.

2) The second problem is related with cabled internet. When i connect a cable, i got internet for 10-20 seconds and then nothing. The sign indicates that everything is alright and i that i got a cabled connection, but no internet. When i click the Cabled connection1, it reconnects and then again i have internet for 10-20 seconds.

Any ideas how to solve these problems?

XPS-15 9530 Wifi issue causing win-10 BSOD

My XPS-15 works flawlessly almost all the time.  However, when connected to a wireless router that has a less than optimal signal, and especially where "wireless extenders" are involved, the computer is prone to crashing with a BSOD - the clue from Microsoft is "MEMORY-MANAGEMENT".  The BSOD comes at a random time into a session, has no bearing on what foreground activity is in progress, and can happen even when ostensibly no internet activity should be occurring at all.

However, the system never crashes except when connected via suspect wifi, and always crashes sooner or later when it is so connected.

I have all the latest (as at 5th July 2016) drivers from Dell, and all the windows updates are in place.  The software is windows 10 pro x64.  I have 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, 1TB spinning disk.

Is it possible to replace the Broadcom wifi card with another device?  Or get a later more robust driver?  Or ANYTHING that will stop the computer from crashing?

Lock out of my laptop

Hi my name is Vanermi.

I have a Dell Inspiron 15 3000 seires Windows 10 laptop. Recently I been having trouble with the task bar and the home and shop icons.For example on the home icon and button the home tab doesn't appear even when I wait a full minute. Or when I want to change the power seting on the battery it doesn't appear either or the volume. Yet my Dropbox icon worked just fine.

So I decided to do as a person suggested and try to "restard" it. So when I restard the whole laptop and enter the login screen, it change the login metod to the windows account password when I originally had the pin number option.

So with no worry I just type my email password and it said it's wrong. I try it a few more time with the same result. So I think it just that I have to change the password so I do (having to wait a whole day). When I try to login again this time with the new password it still says that the password is incorret.

So I think "oh maybe it because the laptop hasn't connected to the internet so it haven't had the change to update or sync". So I go to where the wifi logo on the login screen is and see that instead of the wifi icon there's a square with an red X. So I click on it to see if my wifi networck appears, it does and I try to connect. Yet even do the laptop IS connected to the wifi the red X still appears on the square.

ANd during all this the laptop still wont let me long in with the new password!! TT - TT

So my question are:

How can I ix this problem with the pass word?

How can I get in with having to resorte to the factory reset? (BECAUSE THERE'S NO WAY I WILL LOOSE ALL OF THE THING I HAVE IN IT!)

And

What's wrong with the wifi? And How can I fix it?

My internet connection keeps disconnecting

Hi,


I have a Dell Inspiron 15, 5555 series (AMD 10). I had it for 4 months and it has been till the last month or so that this problems has started. The computer will connect to the wifi but after some time it will disconnect. I will log in again to the wifi and it will keep disconnecting.

Is there a way to solve this problem?

PS. I have upgraded all the driver recommended.

Dell Precision M6700, A15 Bos, running Window 10 Pro, Flight Mode Grayed Out

Hi, I have a M6700 laptop with a new installation of Windows 10 Pro, on completion of the installation everything worked perfectly with Bluetooth and the wireless the only missing driver was for Flight Mode. Since rebooting, this after the first run installation this is now stuck in "Flight Mode" and no option to switch on the wireless this is now greyed out and the Bluetooth has also disappeared. I have tried the Fn + Printscreen keys which makes no difference and I have following the diver installation order as previously mentioned on the Dell site. Can anyone help?

Dell Latitude E5450: ethernet/LAN port not working

Hi,

I have a problem with my laptop a Dell Latitude E5450. Last week after removing McAfee and trying to re-install Panda my internet would not come on through the ethernet cable.  The wireless is working properly. I tried troubleshooting at times it said there was nothing wrong and others they said the cable was not plugged in but it was.  At that time the LEDs by the port were lighting.

I tried updating this morning but there's no wireless where i am at and now the LEDs are not lighting nor am I getting any LAN connection. Can anyone let me know what to do? Could this be a software issue or is it a hardware issue?

Cannot connect through wifi

I am using Dell Inspiron 1525, Windows 7, BSNL broadband connection and a TP-Link 

300 Mbps Wireless N ADSL2+ Modem Router-TD-W8961N . I also sometimes use use a smartphone and a HP laptop to access internet through wifi.  I always prefer wifi . Everything was going well and I was getting good speed. But from today I cannot connect through wifi from my favorite Dell laptop but could do internet using a port.  The image of Network Connections Properties is 

My  Device Manager looks likes this ....

The fourth one- Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface is yellow and status is This device cannot start. (Code 10)

On update it says its updated.

I am confused whether the four adapters are ok or not , and what to do and how to fix the problem.

I have a Dell XPS 9100 ....

I am using AT&T DSL 6.0 for my provider.

I have been having a problem with my download speed dropping from 6.0 and running around 1.8 to 3.0 all the time.

I had AT&T repair out yesterday and my line tested between 5.8 to 6.0 with nothing connected to the network. My other computer is a Dell Inspiration 4700 and when we put it on line the download speed  was 5.8 to 6.0 and didn't changed. When we added the Dell XPS 9100 my download speed dropped to 1.8 to 3.1.

Question could this be a bad network card?

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated..

SSL-VPN Unable to Connect - Windows 10

Hi,

Our office has a SonicWall TZ105, with most recent firmware, and now with Windows 10, we are unable to connect via SSL-VPN.  The user name and password are correct, and I can connect with the Android app.  But in Windows 10, I have tried the MobileConnect App, most recent NetExtender from mysonicwall, used the terminal to create the VPN connection, and just manually made a VPN connection, and nothing works. 

The president of our company just got a new laptop, and it has Windows 10, and I'm hitting a wall everywhere, but need to get her connected to our office. 

Other VPN connections to other VPN servers work on that laptop, just not to our office.  It used to work with the same router settings on Windows 7.


Every different method of trying to connect is giving a different error.  The strangest to me is "The specified port is already open."  But there are no other connections to that port, and am still able to connect using my phone. 

Any ideas??  Thanks in advance!!

How to connect across VLANs from an Internet connection

Greetings, we're using X1000/4000 switches. I have a need to connect to devices on several VLANs from an internet connection. The internet connection goes thru a cellular gateway/modem device and is connected to port 1 on a 12p 1GE X1012 switch. That port is assigned to VLAN 10. The gateway provides NAT so the client uses a public addresses that translate to private addresses. There are six VLANs accessible on the switch on various ports. Say they are named VLAN 10, 110, 101, 102. I can ping addresses on VLAN 10 no problem. I cannot ping any other devices on VLANs 110, 101, and 102. Now you might say that's to be expected because they are on different VLANs. In this case I need an administrator to be able to reach devices on all VLANs through the internet connection to port 1 (on VLAN 10)

How do I make this happen? Do I have to assign each VLAN an IP address then add static routes between the VLANs? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Dell Inspiron 17 5000 Intel R 5759 System Reset

07/13/2016 @ 12:38pm I called support because the lap top was still in warranty but I believed it was potentially software and just needed to confirm it with a diligent support person. I am the user of the pc with permission of the non-profit that owns it. Sadly the invoice only provides the ship to information and not the user.  Invoice #XJWM12651, Date 02/18/16.

But no surprise I was passed around for over 2 hours like a "bad shoe" no one wanted.  Jetin, Sunny, Mae and 6 other people blew me off like a leper!  Key to remember no one wanted to help at all!!!!  Every tech I spoke to left me on hold and when Mae left me on hold she finally hook on up on me.  I heard "you" pick up the phone and hang up, no lie!

So here's a possible solution for a thoughtful and diligent person that may be treated in the same manner... of contempt and disregard.  If you buy software like "rootweb" make sure you know how it works if not save your docs, downloads, pics, music on so on to a mini drive with enough memory and on the PC Go To "Reset".  Don't wait for the diletante/amateurs who can fix the problem but why waste money on support that isn't competent enough to answer a simple question or ever take time and call back.  May your "God" bless your little mind and hearts.  .

Wifi Card Not Working After Reboot!

I have a Dell Inspiron 15 5552 laptop. The OS is Windows 10 64 - bit and I have an Intel Dual-band wireless AC3160 wireless card that is experiencing start up issues. So to start off, I had been watching Netflix and was experiencing normal issues my computer has that requires a hard restart. So I went and held the power button and shut it off. When it turned back on, it booted into the BIOS (I have a UEFI) and I messed around a bit, but discarded my changes. When my computer rebooted, I got into Windows and my wifi icon wasn't showing up. Just the Ethernet icon with a red x. Unfortunately I do not have a Ethernet port on the computer so I cannot just access the Internet that way. I went ahead and attempted to troubleshoot the issue by running the troubleshooter and it said that it was experiencing driver or hardware related issues and in the device status, it said "This device cannot start. (Code 10)." I have tried restarting my computer and disabling and reenabling my drivers but it doesn't help. Can someone help me figure this out please?

Bluetooth Peripheral driver not available for Inspiron 15 7559

Hi all,

I wonder if someone else is facing similar issue as me. WIndows 10 is not displaying the peripheral Bluetooth driver even though I have installed the latest Intel or Dell Bluetooth driver. All drivers are installed yet the peripheral Bluetooth driver or A2DP is not working. Playing music with laptop speakers through Bluetooth seems impossible.
