Re: Dell Wireless 1703 802.11b/g/n (2.4Ghz) - Issues with signal strenght and speed (XPS 8500)
I have exactly the same problem. Usually 1 or 2 bars at best on wireless connection. Mac, iPad and phone wireless connections in the same room are all 5 bars. I have upgraded to the latest Dell driver for the wireless adapter but it has made no difference.

Re: MIssing my network controller driver after re-installed windows 7
Dear VeejDeep,
Thanks for your reply, i already tried to install your first mentioned driver, but is it showing that "This self-extracting zip file is part of a multidisk zip file. please insert the last disk of the set."
I downloaded that from dell-India's website.
Let me try one more time, the driver provided by you then only i can are they useful for me or not....
Re: Problem with WLan drivers on Dell Inspiron N5010
I have faced exactly same issue after I have installed Win 7 on a new hard disk.
I could not use dell recovery disk because they have hard coded partition size and you must have HDD up to 500 GB which is highly stupid. Setup must ask you partition size. I am software Technical Architect with 14 years of experience. This is a usability issue.
I had another HDD with lower size but definately enough to install win7. So I did install it and everything was fine but wireless adapter was a problem. Mine was 32 bit OS. So first make sure what your OS is.
Then go to following link
http://ftp.dell.com/Pages/Drivers/inspiron-15-intel-n5010.html#Chipset
Then download following from network drivers
Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1000, v.13.2.0.30, A00 null | Recommended | 13.2.0.30 | 9/15/2010 | Windows 7 32-bit |
Install it and your Wireless should be up. Also Make sure your wireless key is switched to on.

Re: Problem with WLan drivers on Dell Inspiron N5010
Hello again,
I finally solved my problem with my wireless. It`s all about a service that was not started by Windows and that stopped my wireless. Please chech with the services installed on your PC and set to automatically start WLAN Auto Config service. Thanks to a software called Wireless Mon that helped my with this problem. Now everything works very well.
Hope this will help.
Bye.

Re: Dell Inspiron Mini 1012 Bluetooth not showing up on operating system!
Hi Jay_1496,
Thank you for the reply.
It appears that 'Windows installer' could not detect the 'Bluetooth adapter'. Please try to update BIOS and see if that helps:
- Click http://dell.to/13OnM5Z> Download the file and follow through with the on-screen instructions to finish installation
Note: Make sure the ac adapter is connected and the battery is charged 10% or above to update the BIOS. Also, disconnect all the external peripherals before updating the BIOS. All the programs should be closed and documents saved.
Hope this helps. Do reply with the findings.

ALIENWARE M14x network wireless problem
hello, i have been having this problem with my wireless network driver. I know this issue was a while back, but I got stuck and got busy. Now I have time to fix it,and I still could not fix it despite searching around google and Dell forums.
The problem: There was a brief period of time where i could not access the internet even though it says im connected(limited connectivity). So i tried uninstalling the network driver and install it again. However, when i uninstalled it, i could not install it back and i could not use wireless. I tried connecting using wire, but i still could not connect to the internet. In the device manager, it also has an exclamation mark on "network controller".
Network adapters: Atheros AR8151 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller(NDIS 6.20)

Does anyone know the solution to this? I would be glad to provide as much information if anyone is willing to help and guide me on this step by step. thanks
Re: Dell Wireless 1502 802.11b/g/n keeps on disconnects wireless
There is no "Dell 1502 Wireless Driver" the only thing I can find is "Dell Wireless Driver Installer". Which I decided to run the program. It had an option to repair the wireless driver. So I made it repair it, I am waiting a few days to see if it solved the solution or not.
