Evaluation kits cover 32-bit MCU and DAVE

The XMC4700 Relax, Relax Kit for 5V Shields, and Relax Lite evaluation kits from Infineon Technologies are now being shipped by distributor Mouser Electronics. These kits are designed to evaluate the capabilities of the XMC4700 microcontroller and Infineon’s free-of-charge, Eclipse-based integrated development environment (IDE), DAVE.

With the XMC4700 Relax, Relax Kit for 5V Shields, and Relax Lite kits, engineers can prototype designs for a variety of industrial and consumer applications, including automation, construction and agricultural vehicles, motor control, solar energy systems, and power supplies.

The evaluation kits are all equipped with an Infineon XMC4700 microcontroller based on a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 core; an onboard debug probe that supports serial wire debug (SWD), serial wire output (SWO), and a virtual COM port; plus a micro-USB port.

All three boards feature Arduino Uno-compatible headers. The Relax and Relax Lite boards include 0-Ohm bridges that allow the kits to work with 3.3V Arduino Uno-compatible shields, and the Relax Kit for 5V Shields includes a voltage level shifter that allows it to work with both 3.3V and 5V Arduino Uno-compatible shields.

The XMC4700 Relax Kit adds Ethernet-enabled communication, which can facilitate an embedded server, and a microSD Card slot that allows users to store HTML web pages.

The Relax Kit also features 32Mbits of quad-SPI flash memory, an Infineon high-speed CAN transceiver suitable for 12V and 24V bus systems, and a 32.768kHz real-time clock (RTC) crystal.

After reinstalling windows 7 64bit and update all the drivers from DELL support, i do not have anymore 300mbps but just 150Mbps.From manager devise/network adapters/Intel Centrino Wireless-N1030/properties/advanced/802.11n bandwidth 2.4, i have to choices 20 MHZ and auto. I marked AUTO. With few words i lost the 40MHZ choice. At this moment my DELL is not 40MHZ capable, and Idon't know why.

My Router is Linksys X1000 N300 with ADSL2+Modem and marked AUTO (20MHZ or 40mhz)

I cannot connect to the internet with my Dell laptops.  My wife and I both have the Dell Inspiron 15.  My is model number 3542.  I have upgraded to a Linksys router, WRT1900ACDS.  Neither of our computers will connect to the internet.  They will connect to the router but provide local networking only.  Interestingly, I can logon as a guest and have no problem getting to the internet.  I also have no problem with my iphone, ipad, or HP laptop using Vista.  I have upgraded all drivers on my computer.  What can the problem and resolution be for the Dell wifi network adaptor?

My desktop keeps losing internet connection. When I run "troubleshooter" it resets the LAN adapter. It will only do this if I do it ad "administrator. My WIFI seems fine. Do I need a driver update?

I've having problems of connection for my Dell Travel Mouse WM524, which connected very well before an Windows 10 upgrade in September. After looking into many issues I found an error message at Airplane Mode Switch in Human Interface Devices in Device Manager at settings of windows 10.

When I disable the Airplane Mode Switch the Dell Travel Mouse WM524 connected very easily and is now functioning. Does anybody know what is the problem and how I can correct it without disabling teh airplane switch?

Thanks

My network card is a Dell Wireless 1705 802.11b/g/n (2.4GHZ) but I have access to 5 GHZ internet. I don't know how network cards work exactly but I do know that it refuses to even see my 5 GHZ connection. I have no problems connecting to the 2.4 GHZ internet however. Is there some kind of fix for this or am I stuck with what I have given the network card? Thanks!

Inspiron 17R-5720 wifi losing internet connection without disconnecting

I am experiencing a peculiar wifi issue with my Dell Inspiron 17R-5720. After connecting to wifi, the laptop will work fine for a period of time (usually 5 minutes), and then all of the sudden the internet connection will stop working. The laptop will show it is still connected to the wifi source, but that it has no internet. After attempting to disconnect from the wifi source, the wifi menu seems to freeze, then after getting it to close, the wifi menu empties, then after a while repopulates with wifi sources. After reconnecting, the wifi issue resurfaces. Sometimes I'll even need to reboot as the laptop simply won't show any available wifi after disconnecting.

I'm on Windows 10 Pro (x64 bit). After reading a lot on the forums, I realized after installing Windows 10 Pro I never installed the drivers, so I attempted to install the chipset then network drivers. Everything installed seamlessly until I tried the Wifi driver. It fails even when run as Administrator. I've posted below my system information regarding network devices and the error being provided by the driver software.

What do I need to do to fix my wifi issue?

What drivers do I install

hey,

I just reinstalled windows 7 onto a dell inspiron 3521 and it has no drivers so I cannot get internet access. I have been trying to get the essential drivers so that I can hook up an Ethernet cable and then get everything else form the website automatically. I can't seem to find the right one though. I've tried the wifi and the wifi+bluetooth driverss so far and I keep getting error messages when they try to install. Anyone know which driver I need or what I may be doing wrong? Thanks ~MB

HI I dell INspiron 7537 with a network adapter:

Realtek RTL8168/8111 Gigabit-LAN (10/100/1000MBit)

For seemingly no reason at all suddenly my connectivity vanishes.  Like it shows that the cable is plugged in but I not longer can access the internet.  If I pull my ethernet out and put it back in it automatically reconnects but this happens at random for the most part.  I took my PC into Best Buy to have it serviced because my Dell warranty has run out and the say they tested the PC and found now problem.  Before I potentially go weeks again with my PC, can anyone shed light on this problem?

I guess I could find the latest software updates manually but this application makes it easier.

Any assistance would be helpful.

Thank you!

docking station connection

My Dell docking station usually performs pretty flawless with my Venue tablet. In the last week I noticed it has had some interruptions with the Ethernet connection (lost connectivity with network and then reconnected almost right away). Yesterday, my Ethernet connection doesn't exist. Also, the USB ports on the docking station are not functional. However, the docking station is charging the tablet and the two video ports are working also. Anyone have any ideas?

Bluetooth Wifi Clashing : Wifi Internet Drops intermittently

I have an Inspiron 5748 running Windows 10 Pro.

I recently bought a pair of Bose QuietComfort 35 bluetooth headphones. When I pair the headphones to my laptop, my wifi connection drops repeatedly and intermittently. When I unpair the headphones from my laptop, my wifi connection returns to normal.

I have upgraded my laptops bluetooth and networking drivers to the latest version, plus updated the firmware on the QC35's to the latest.

I have run diagnostic tests on my laptops bluetooth and networking services - all passed.

I have run diagnostics on my Virgin Broadband wifi router - all passed.

Something about the bluetooth and the wifi is clashing but I'm at a loss as to what to do next in order to zero in on the cause of the problem.

Can anyone help?

Hi there.

I have a newly bought Dell Inspiron 17 7778 and the WiFi drops sometimes every minute.

It is very frustrating.

Can some one please direct me to the correct WiFi driver I need to fix this problem?
I have never had this problem with any other brand of laptop before.

Thanks
