I have an Asus Dual-Band Wireless-N (RT-N56U) that has worked wonderfully with my other 5 computers.Both the 2.4 ghz and the 5 ghz appear and connect as they should with my other computers.
However, after purchasing my Dell Inspiron 17R Special Edition this year (Windows 8 comes preinstalled), I can see only the 2.4 ghz in the available wireless network lists. No matter what I do, I cannot see the 5 ghz wireless band connection with the Dell. I have several other computer in the same room that see it just fine, but the Dell does not.
What do I need to do to get my Dell to see this 5 ghz connection?
