Sorry guys have been busy. I actually thought that since i contacted dell and it only took them 2 days to get back to me and saying they have a suggested fix from engineering that everyone would just be able to ask and they would be told the same.
Okay so my wireless is still good, as good as my other laptops and devices in my house. i also just upgraded my router and with my new router i can now get speeds just as fast as if it was wired. and my XPS 15 also handles this. I am getting my maximum adsl2+ line speed from about 10 metres away and a wall. (but even before my new router my wireless was fine just on the 2.4 ghz and with only 802.11g as it was getting the same speed 10m as it was 10 inchs)
@derekduoba i have no idea about dell US, since i am in Australia but the person i contacted said they contacted engineering and engineering told them what to do, but if the lcd assembly is not a fix the technician must have done something my accident and fixed it.
the technician that installed it called wrote on the receipt that he "replaced lcd Assembly" .
and also on the receipt it has 3 parts listed on it and they are as below. This is all the information i have.

i also have the dell 1901 wireless card as well as windows 8 and the latest drivers. I waited to update my router as i wanted a laptop that would work on a *** wireless and after the lcd assembly my xps 15 did. and with my new router i get better wireless then i ever have in my house. the xps gets pretty decent range with my new router, i am yet to test it at my friends houses (where i was getting terrible wireless before the lcd assembly). i hope that i do not run into any more issues with the computer.
i hope that this lcd assembly also fixes everyone elses problems, but for me i instantly loved my computer as soon as the wireless worked before i was wanting to return it, but i only had the laptop and wireless issue for about 3 weeks and once i contacted dell got back to me pretty quickly and always got straight through on the phone, so if i had more trouble i would probably wouldnt be as happy.
