Hi Mascoolalx,

I appreciate your efforts. You can uninstall and re-install the drivers (from 'Device Manager') for the wireless card of your computer by following the steps below:

  • Click on “Start” and right click on “Computer”.
  • Click on “Manage”.
  • Click on “Device Manager”.
  • Under “Display adapters”, you will find the video driver listed.
  • Right click on it and click on “uninstall”. (Check and make a note of the driver installed on your system and re-install the driver from the below steps accordingly).
  • Check the box to delete the software.
  • Restart your system and click on the link: http://dell.to/Wqw62I
  • Click on “Download File”.
  • Select “For Single File Download via Browser”.
  • Click on “Download Now”.
  • Save the driver on your desktop.
  • Once the driver is saved on desktop, right click on it and select “Run as administrator”.
  • Install the wireless driver by following the on screen instructions.
  • Restart your computer.

If the issue still persists, go to 'Device Manager' -- > Right click the Wireless card under Network adapters -- > Properties -- > Power management tab -- > Uncheck the box. -- > Navigate to Advanced tab --> Change Roaming aggressiveness from moderate to maximum or vice versa. -- > Try changing the channel settings from 11 to 6 or vice versa -- > Change the value for transmit power to maximum. -- > Click Apply/OK to save changes and restart the computer.

For more information on these settings, you can refer to link: http://dell.to/S1tITx

Another step you can try is to delete the netowrk profile and then create a new one. This issue also occurs when the profile goes corrupt. Please follow the steps listed below:  Open the Network and Sharing Center. There, on the left side column, click on "Manage wireless networks" (Following screen appears)

In the 'Manage Wireless Networks' window, you can see the profiles of all the wireless networks which were connected in the past. Select the network with which you are facing trouble, and click 'Remove'

Confirm that you want to remove the network profile. The profile of the wireless network is now deleted. Windows will detect that network as if it was a new discovery and you will be able to enter all the details again and connect to it.

Please reply for further clarifications.
