Are you using a Wired or a Wireless internet connection?
Check in Device Manager if there are any alerts on the Network Adapters.
Procedure to navigate to device manager:
- Click “start”.
- Type “Device Manager” in the search box.
- Select “Device Manager “in the list.
- Click the “Network Adapters”.
If there are any alerts, install the Network card drivers from the Resource Dvd which was shipped along with the computer. Insert the Dell Resource CD/DVD in the computer (Drivers and Utilities Disc), select the system model and operating system from the left hand pane, select Networking and install the drivers for the appropriate Network card and WLAN card.
