As the device is not listed in device manager, the issue might be with the hardware. You may follow the steps below to check the status of LAN adapter in BIOS is enabled :
- Power on the system
- Press F2 button when you see Dell logo on-screen
- Highlight Integrated Peripherals and press Enter
- Highlight Onboard LAN Controller and ensure it is Enabled
- Press F10 to save the changes and restart.
- Check in device manager if the Network Adapter or Ethernet Controller option appears
