Akumtong Jamir,
I couldn't figure out how to use WiFi Dashboard, so I downloaded the older drivers from the Installing My Wi-Fi Technology thread, using the link to Intel's website. I then save the drivers to the desktop.
I then made a system restore point.
Start, control panel, network adapter, right clicked on my adapter, left clicked uninstall. Told it to remove the drivers and software.
Restarted my computer.
The new hardware wizard tried to install the adapter, but failed. I then installed the drivers I saved to my desktop. Pay close attention to follow the instructions below.
Click on the little arrow and select...
This feature will be installed on local hard drive
Restart your computer when prompted or wait about two minutes after you click finished. When you restart your computer, you should have the WiFi Technology installed.
Click start, all programs, Intel ProSet Wireless, Intel My WiFi Technology. You can then enable the technology from there.
