well its not really the over all internet speed thats low, its the connection speed, as i said on my old laptop i was generally around 300 mbps connection speed to my home router, on my new laptop with the same card and should be same driver, im usually around 150 but varying. the biggest thing ive noticed would be when watching TV (with a network tuner, and yes its not reccomended over wireless but at the time i moved between rooms alot) there was more corruption that was indicative of lack of available bandwidth to the tuner which is on the same network. playing games ive never had any big problems, same with downloading unless im having a spike in packet loss but thats rare.
i know this is a really odd problem and thank you for any help. more so since my posting on notebookreview forums got no replies.
