darkevia,
Belkin routers are one of the few routers that I have had problems connecting with. The have issues with WPA security. Thompson is another problem router. The ISP knows about the connection issue.
When this happens to me I go to Drivers & Downloads enter the service tag, then select the operating system. Download the drivers and save them to your desktop.
Make a system restore point
Start, control panel, device manager, network adapters, right click on Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 1000, left click uninstall. Tell it to remove drivers and software.
Restart your computer.
When you log back in, the new hardware wizard will try to install the drivers but fail. Install the drivers saved to your desktop.
What happens?
Places to look to see if your Connection is enabled
